The legend tells that when they wanted to listen to the siren song, the gods of the Olympe borrowed the path which overhangs the Amalfi Coast, from Bomerano to Nocelle: the path of the gods (Sentiero degli Dei). Of this balcony, they kissed all the gulf of Salerno, since the riviera of Cilento up to the point of Sorrente, and further west still, to Capri and its famous rocks, "faraglioni" They perceived especially the small archipelago Li Galli, the refuge of the women-fishes in the bewitching voice. Today, sirens are kill. The gods retired. But the path, him, lives, eight kilometers to flirt with the abyss, from east to west. It is to Bomerano, a hamlet of Agerola, that we find his departure, not without difficulty. In the angle of the piazza Paolo Capasso, a street comes down up to the path. There, panels confirm that we are as height as 650 meters, in the heart of a landscape protected by the UNESCO since 1997.
Embark in Naples and follow the coast until Amalfi via Positano, stop on the Capri islands, Ischia and Procida. The charm and the beauty of this picturesque coast are perfected for a cruise in family, a revitalizing weekend or a honeymoon.
