MARLA

Length : 50.03 m - 6 Cabins

Description

Shipyard : Amels Holland Bv

Built : 1999

Yacht MARLA for charter

Marla has been maintained, regardless of cost, to the highest standards and is, in our opinion, one of the best-kept yachts of her type and age, on the charter and sale's marker. She boasts an excellent reputation throughout the industry with a fully documented history.

Refit/Maintenance Details:
Please note that she now has zero speed stabilizers.

Hull was repainted and decks refitted where necessary in the winter of 2009.

The Gym has been modified and changed into a twin bunked cabin - one bed at normal bed level and a pullman that is a bed when down and a desk when up.

The gym equipment is stored onboard and goes under the arch on the sundeck for charter (Treadmill, exercise bike and free weights).

Sliding door installed between master cabin and study - study has been redesigned to allow a free corridor when entering the master.

Decorative retouches with addition of some authentic maritime instruments, glassware and new artwork.

Main engines were rebuilt to 0 hours and surveyed by Lloyd’s; generators replaced in 2010 and surveyed by Lloyd’s; new load bank installed; reduction gear overhauled and inspected by Lloyd’s; yacht was repainted; Teak deck was recaulked on all deck and several planks were replaced;water makers have been replaced; Radars have been changed; Sewage treatment plant serviced; all LSA equipment serviced; 10 years Lloyd survey was carried out.

The TV system has been upgraded. Result is that instead of having 8 channels spread in the cabin, each cabin can now command the decoder and receive more than 200 different channels in each cabin. The decoder system was also duplicated so the Yacht can receive either English channels from Sky TV spread by ASTRA 2 satellite or French, Arab or Russian channels through Hotbird satellite.

Yacht has completed all class surveys. Intermediate ISM and ISPS carried out by flag in 2010.
Carpets replaced throughout the entire yacht in July 2010.

Galley now fully equipped with commercial professional enquipment.

2012:
New jet-ski crane in the lazarette which makes launching and retrieving the jet skis faster (and safer).
The Wi-Fi system upgraded; all new cabling throughout, as well as new access points and control systems.
On the sun deck new slightly larger sun beds (built-in) as well as refurbished teak sun beds. New cushions and covers around the sun deck forward table.
All carpets, couches and seats as well as all mattresses have been cleaned.
New cycling machine for sundeck.
Upgrading of the entertainment systems; all new amplifiers, remotes and speakers (sundeck) for the external / public spaces as well as a couple more
iPod docks etc.
Extra power point’s installed in guest cabins.

2014:
Hull, bridge-deck, fore-deck completely re-painted.
New SEA-TEL satellite TV installed
3 x new contemporary large sofas for bridge deck.
New sofa/cushions aft deck
Faster internet service (upgraded)

2015:
Top deck completely re-painted, therefore the yacht has received a full paint job during the last two winters.
All decks re-sanded.
Two new tenders:
• Novurania Chase 19 (8m) with 220 hp (brand new custom built guest tender that seats 10)
• Nautica (6m) with 115 hp Outboard (refitted as new)

Replacing all Cabin TVs for HD flat screens, etc

Satellite TV; In 2014 the SEA-TEL satellite dish was replaced, although inside the old, existing dome. A smaller dome has now been fitted.

Lazarette: New washing machine and tumble dryer installed as well as redesigned storage and shelving area.

Bridge deck: Barbeque has been replaced with a new unit.

Sun deck: New treadmill.

Guest Accommodation:
Marla has a full-width master stateroom on the main deck; two double staterooms with bath and two twin staterooms with showers on the lower deck. There is a further single cabin (with a pullman bed) located aft of the master stateroom with shower and head and perfectly suitable for a nanny/bodyguard or children.
